CHAPS – PURPOSE & MISSION

Caribbean culture is expressed through generations of lived experience, including language, music, storytelling, food traditions, spirituality, and artistic practice. These elements form a living identity that continues to evolve across the islands and global communities.

Cultural preservation efforts focus on protecting these traditions, strengthening awareness of heritage, and ensuring that Caribbean identity remains visible and connected to future generations.

This work also highlights the importance of education, artistic expression, and community engagement in keeping cultural knowledge active and accessible..
